Enjoy Danang Festival 2026: Visitor Guide for 22-26 July

Da Nang will stage Enjoy Danang Festival 2026 from 22 to 26 July, bringing a five-day programme of food, culture, sport and beach experiences to East Sea Park, the city's tourism beaches and selected destinations around the city. For travellers already in central Vietnam, the festival offers an easy way to add local experiences to a beach stay without needing to leave the city. The programme has been announced by Da Nang's tourism authorities under the 2026 theme "Return to Origins", with activities inspired by coastal life and the culture of the wider Quang region.

East Sea Park, in An Hai Ward, is a key point for visitors. The opening ceremony is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, 23 July, at the park. It is planned as an outdoor arts presentation drawing on fishing-village life, countryside markets, traditional craft villages and modern Da Nang. Travellers who want to attend should allow extra time for transport and arrive early, particularly if they are staying on the opposite side of the Han River or in a more distant beach area.

One of the most practical choices for visitors is the Countryside Market and Culinary Space at East Sea Park. It is scheduled daily from 17:00 to 22:30 from 22 to 26 July. The programme combines local food with craft-related and cultural experiences, alongside an international food area. It can suit families and independent travellers looking for an evening activity after the beach. As with any busy food event, visitors should check prices before ordering, carry drinking water and use normal care with belongings in crowded areas.

The night beach programme adds another reason to visit after sunset. From 23 to 26 July, the Danang Beach Enjoyment Route and Light Kite Night are planned from 18:00 to 22:00 in the northern beach area of East Sea Park. The installations use coastal motifs including basket boats, fishing nets, lanterns, bamboo and rattan, with hundreds of illuminated traditional kites. From 24 to 26 July, the Seaside Night of Lights is also scheduled in the same northern beach area. These are outdoor activities, so comfortable footwear, mosquito protection and a light rain layer can be useful even in warm weather.

The festival also includes beach sports, music and entertainment, cultural activities, early-morning experiences and city-wide discovery activities. Exact timings and individual venues can change, so visitors should rely on the latest information from Da Nang's official tourism channels before setting out. It is sensible to plan just one or two activities per evening rather than trying to cross the city repeatedly during peak traffic.

Da Nang's July weather is typically hot and humid, with strong sun in the daytime and the possibility of brief rain. For daytime events, bring sun protection, a refillable water bottle and suitable footwear for sand and park paths. For beach activities, follow any local safety instructions and pay attention to the sea conditions displayed on site. Parents travelling with children should agree on a meeting point before entering crowded areas.

Enjoy Danang Festival is a city-wide summer event rather than a single ticketed show. Visitors can choose a food-focused evening, a beach walk with the light displays, or a broader cultural outing around the opening programme. Checking the official schedule shortly before each visit will help travellers make the most of the festival while leaving time to enjoy Da Nang's coastline, cafes and nearby attractions.
